VIVO V60 Specs and Review:
Today, we are going to explore the Vivo V60, all features and specs, with a detailed review and some additional information too. Stay connected.
V60 Display:
As always, starting from its display. The AMOLED curved display with a size of 6.77 inches and 1080×2392 (FHD+) resolution, haha, it’s good though. Let’s step forward to the peak brightness. Any guess for peak brightness? If you guessed 4000 nits, I must say you are completely wrong because this thing supports 5000 nits of peak brightness. Moving to the HBM, it supports 1500 HBM, which is pretty cool. It won’t disappoint you under the sunlight. Moving to the refresh rate, it supports a 120Hz smooth like butter refresh rate. And of course, an HDR 10+ support and a screen guard to protect the screen.
Well, I think it’s an excellent display.
Difference between HBM and Peak brightness:
Oh, hey, yeah, you, don’t you think what HBM is.
Ok, wait, do you guys have any idea what the difference is between HBM and peak brightness?
Ok, don’t worry, I gotchu, here is the brief explanation.
First of all, HBM, which stands for High Brightness Mode, is more important for everyday use and especially for outdoor usage.
HBM gives a temporary boost all over the screen, where Peak Brightness is the highest possible brightness level a display can reach, but only in a small portion of the screen.
Let me explain you in very simple words.
High Brightness is for the whole display, and Peak Brightness is for the small areas of the display.
Here is the diagram. Hope you will get my point.
When you are watching a movie or any anime 😁, the brightness of the particular objects like, sun, tube lights, lightning swords, these are the peak brightness. And the whole bright display is the High Brightness Mode.
So don’t you ever mistake peak brightness as the HBM, as HBM is the main character here. And typically, above 1000 nits of HBM is good for an excellent viewing experience.
Cameras:
Here are the cameras. This device is built with a triple camera setup; the main camera is 50MP with Autofocus and OIS support. The second is an 8MP Ultra-Wide lens that allows you to take beautiful landscape photos. If you are going out with your friends to explore some amazing, beautiful landscapes, then send those photos with your “that” friend who never comes 😪. Well, in my friend circle, I’m that friend 🥲. Don’t send me.
Ok, heading to the third camera, which is a Telephoto lens with 50MP resolution. A beautiful Smart Aura light right below the Ultra-Wide lens. And yes, vivo has co-engineered with ZEISS.
A 50MP selfie sensor with Autofocus, a beautiful selfie sensor for beautiful faces out there.
Both cameras video recording: 3840×2160 and 1920×1080 at 30FPS.
